Postmortem Brew Review
Solid black color.
Roasty malts and chocolate smells.
Full foamy, tan head with staying power.
Absolutely coats the whole inside of the glass.
Rich full mouth feel, luscious silky smooth.

First 'tap' review here, but unfortunately, no true 'dead soldier' to portray above. Never mind that.

Looking for some dessert led me to this beauty of a chocolate stout. Having recently reaped another cho-stout, it left me wanting to see what others had to offer in this style of indulgence. The second best part* was watching it pour from the tap. The double forming head took about two full minutes to settle down as the bartender worked his magic.

The thick and creamy head this stout supplied was a challenge for my foam sweeping mustache. Occupational hazard, some might say. All in all, a great milk stout and one for the books.

*Oh. What was the first best part, you ask? Drinking it, of course!

Postmortem Brew Review
Clear and copper in color.
Bready smell of banana, malt and spicy hops.
Full head with staying power.
Slight lacing of the glass.
Medium mouth feel.

Almost like lovin' from the oven. This beer is truth in advertising! Once lifted to the nose and tasted on the palate, you would swear you were drinking a slice of banana bread. It has a delicious balance of spice to it as well. Delectable and savory; it's the new comfort food in a bottle.

This was another of the samplings from the western trip and was enjoyed by all. Clever of these Wells folks to capture Fairtrade Bananas and pair them with a beer. This beer can be fun to start off with, but you may want to have it as your aperitif at last call. No peeling required.
