Postmortem Brew Review
Beautiful mahogany color tone.
Malt and spice nose with trace cinnamon and nutmeg fragrance.
Caramel tan
, fluffy three fingered head that dissipates very slowly.
Head lacing coats entire glass nicely.
Moderate carbonation with warming spice finish.
Medium
bodied; easy drinker. Sessionable.

Grim Reaper's Eulogy
The holidays are officially here and there was no better way to welcome them in with this wonderfully crafted beer.  The work day is done and with a week and a half of holiday festivities ahead, there will be much to celebrate.

The Harpoon Winter Warmer is inviting upon the smell with a pleasant touch of winter's spice reminding you of that, "...over the river and through the woods..." trip to Grandma's house.  A little ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon does the trick.  Some might say that it's too much, but for a winter ale, I think this hits the spot.

So if you have some time to kill around the fireside this yule time, get yourself some of this grownup goodness in a bottle.  To all a good night!
