Postmortem Brew Review
Clear reddish brown color.
Dry nut and malt aromas. Spice notes in the background.
Tan, two finger head. Dissipates fairly quickly, leaving ringed head.
Spotted lacing on glass.
Creamy malt tones and dry nut taste. Spice flavors noticed as it warms.
Light amount of carbonation.
Light bodied. A bit on the watery side at first, but eventually dries out.

Grim Reaper's Eulogy
This is a gold and bronze medal winner of the North American Brewer's Association. This beer's started out a bit watery, but eventually the spiciness and dry qualities came through. The sweet malty backbone nicely balances out the rest. This one just came down to letting the chill get out of it. Once that occurred, the flavors and body were all there.

Apparently, Oak Creek's offerings are only available in their home state of Arizona. Another road trip may be in order.
